About Us:

Since 1992, The Dentist's Choice has been recognized as the largest network and the most definitive source for handpiece expertise in North America, with over 120 offices, including 5 in Canada. We repair, rebuild and provide maintenance tips on all models of handpieces. We also repair nosecones, contra angles, scalers, attachments and heads. Each office starts up with a trained, 2 person, fully equipped, repair facility with the support of our Head Office and an extensive network of technicians and suppliers. The Greater Toronto Office is located by the Rouge Valley in Pickering, Ontario.

What support does our Head Office provide?

Economy of scale: Since our head office purchases tens of thousands of bearings, turbines, chuck/spindles etc. from reputable suppliers, we receive better than wholesale prices for our parts, tools and shipping.
On-call Support: Our head office has 3 on-call technical experts available to assist (via web cam or phone) any technicians, having problems with an obsolete or difficult to repair handpiece.
Head Office Repair Centre: Although most handpieces are repaired in the regional offices, our Head Office has a fully staffed repair centre to assist with handpieces that are very difficult to repair. Our technicians at Head Office have been repairing thousands of handpieces per year, for fifteen years. If our technicians cannot repair your handpiece, then no one can.
Training:Regular training upgrades as well as regional meetings are provided. Our Head Office makes handpiece repair easy, providing up-to-date repair manuals, containing schematics of all handpieces, with repair illustrations signifying which tools and parts to use for each handpiece.

Quality: Because of our reduced parts cost and low overhead, we are able to install high quality bearings and turbines at reduced prices. Our premium bearings come with an ABEC 9 rating and a manufacturer’s, 6-month warranty. Our new Euro made turbines come with a 12-month warranty. If you are not receiving a 6-month warranty on your bearings, then there is a good chance you do not have the best quality! Our premium bearings will last longer and out perform the industry standard bearings.
Convenience: We will pickup and deliver! Free! If you are within 40 kilometres of our office, a Dentist's Choice representative will personally pickup your handpieces. There is no need to package your handpieces or arrange for a courier. Place your handpiece(s) in an autoclave bag or one of our free delivery pouches, plus your business card or one of our filled out work orders and we will pick up from your front desk.
Cost: Our repair costs are very competitive. There are no hidden costs and our prices are final as per our price list. Pickup and delivery is free and we do not pad our initial quote by adding costs for minor parts or couriers.
Personalized Service: You are not another number to us. We are limited to our territory and take pride in providing a more personalized service to our clients. We want you to feel we are part of your team! Besides personalized pickup and delivery, we will provide maintenance tips on how to care for your handpieces. We remember our client’s repairs and are readily available for any questions you may have.
Options: As well, we offer more affordable, quality, ABEC 7 rated turbines and bearings. In fact, chances are, you are presently using ABEC 7 rated parts now. The ABEC 7 rating implies the part meets ISO and manufacturer’s standards.
